Sensassion sells Caldera. We're who you call to repair one.

Caldera is Watkins' other premium line, sold locally through a dealer in West Palm Beach. They're a sales operation, not a same-day service crew — so when a Caldera heater dies or a pump won't prime, we're the independent shop that diagnoses and fixes the equipment, upfront, with the $100 diagnostic credited to your repair.

Caldera quirks

What tends to fail on a Caldera

Caldera shares the Watkins engineering DNA with Hot Spring, which means the heart of it is the Watkins No-Fault titanium heater — a sealed, proprietary assembly rather than a generic $30 element. That's a durable heater, but it isn't a part you grab off any shelf, so the diagnosis matters: we confirm whether you actually need the full No-Fault assembly or just the high-limit and sensor side that often gets blamed for a no-heat call.

Many Caldera spas run the FreshWater Salt System, and salt-water chemistry plus our hard South Florida water is a recipe for scale inside the plumbing and heater path. Scale narrows the heater's flow channel and insulates the element, so the first thing an owner notices is the water taking longer to reach temperature, then eventually an overheat or low-flow shutdown. We check the heater tube and flow before condemning a heater that scale was choking.

On the pump side, Caldera uses Watkins-spec circulation and jet pumps. A weakening circ pump is the usual hidden cause behind a heater that “won't heat” — the No-Fault heater needs steady flow to fire, and when the pump can't deliver it, the control protects the system by cutting the heater. We test flow first so a tired pump doesn't get misdiagnosed as a dead heater.

Answers before you call

The dealer sells Caldera; we repair them. We're an independent same-day shop with upfront pricing on Caldera heater and pump work, and your $100 diagnostic is credited to the repair.

On salt-system Calderas, that's frequently scale building up inside the No-Fault heater and plumbing, which insulates the element and restricts flow. We inspect the heater path before assuming the heater itself is dead.

Yes. We service the proprietary No-Fault titanium heater and source the correct assembly when needed — but we always confirm it isn't a starved-flow, scale or sensor issue first.

Standard upfront — heater jobs from $289, pump jobs from $359, with proprietary Watkins parts priced before we start. The $100 diagnostic is credited to the repair.
